Marcella Molea's "The Door of the Soul," an oil on cardboard work, captures an evocative scene. A stylized interior opens onto a door framing a vast seascape. The checkered floor, illuminated by a shaft of golden light from the opening, draws the gaze to the horizon. The sea, painted in vibrant shades of blue, merges with a luminous sky where the yellow of the sun blends with the white of the clouds. Textured brushstrokes lend depth and dynamism to the composition. The artist's signature is visible in the lower right corner.
