THE MAN 195X100

THE SKELETON

The human skeleton is the set of bones that provides the body with its structure. In the adult it consists of 206 bones articulated with each other and closely attached to ligaments, tendons, and muscles. It is made up of bone tissue and cartilaginous tissue. It represents about 12% of the total weight of the human body, therefore the skeleton of a 75-kilogram person weighs 9 kilograms. 1

The skeletal system has several functions such as mechanical support of the body and allows it to maintain a wide variety of postures and movements. In turn, it serves to protect internal organs, a metabolic warehouse and is a producer of blood cells. It is worth highlighting its bipedal and erect shape to move thanks to its evolution over more than 5 million years, which demonstrates the existence of a program that has been adapting the original design of the primate to reach the human body due to the various circumstances that have appeared throughout its evolution.

THE MUSCULATURE

The muscular system is the set of more than 600 muscles that exist in the body human, the function of most muscles is to produce movements of the parts of the body. The muscular system creates balance by stabilizing the position of the body, producing movement, regulate the volume of organs, mobilize substances within the body and produce heat.

Muscle is a contractile organ that determines the shape and contour of our body.

It has cells capable of lengthening along their contraction axis. Some muscles move at will and others function automatically.

Like the skeleton, the muscles have also evolved depending on the type of movements and exercises that man did. If there wasn't a program that told the muscles how to change their shape according to the movements, they would never have changed.

THE MAN

It is the terrestrial animal with the highest level of intelligence, it walks erect and is capable of walking at a speed of 4.5 km per hour and running at 42 km, the maximum so far. He has developed a great capacity for movement and adapts a large number of postures even though it takes him about a year to learn to walk from birth, however he learns to hold on to things in just a few weeks. Speaking takes longer on average by 2 years and from the age of four onwards they are able to learn to read and in two more years to write. Throughout this process he actually programs himself based on the teachings of those around him and he repeats the operations “n” times until he learns to do it automatically. In general, he is capable of learning everything he sets his mind to and then he will be able to create new things in the field or activity that attracts him and which he enjoys doing.
