The painting is part of a serie called geometric landcapes.

This serie decipits elements of landscapes thru shapes and colours. aAll natural elements such as clouds, sun, are represented by connecting colours with specific shapes. While landscapes can appear simplified by the shape language, their complexity is kept by an intricate interplay by the colour palette and texture. This latter is achieved with different techniques such as layering and impasto as well as using natural materials such as sand.
