YEAR 1977 - This drawing, done while I was doing my military service, was commissioned for the cover of a pamphlet that was customary at the end of the officers' course and distributed at the end of the three months. If the dagger, with its evil shadow, represents everything military; what lies in the background is my personal love story. I was then tied to a Swiss person. Between us were the Alps, and I, who as a soldier, could not reach her. My comrades evidently shared these sentiments and saw in the drawing that desire for freedom we all shared.
