Artwork realized on poplar table 1 cm high and finished with a black wood profile. The bottom has been prepared in such a way as to be grainy. 

On the day dedicated to the celebration of ‘ World Day against violence against women’, I felt that I wanted to create a female figure silhouette that stretches her arms to the sky, as if she wanted to celebrate her being. Her womb is full of  light and full of hope. A womb that illuminates the world because it is from  there that humankind takes its origin. The red background has the double value  of passion/ creativity/ energy and, unfortunately, blood and violence. 

The picture is an invitation to value and respect women.
