Description

This room in the Palace of Versailles with the three knights impressed me so much that I really wanted to use it as a theme in my art. However, I stood in this pompous room for 10 minutes and puzzled over whether they were men or women. The waist and the shape of the upper body made it difficult for me to decide. During the painting process, I was also undecided as to whether I should paint men or women. I'll leave the interpretation up to you. The background is decorated with geometric patterns. May I introduce: The Knights of Versailles (Die Reiter von Versailles)
