The window of my dreams
Description
Title: "The window of my dreams" Technique: oil and acrylic on canvas
Dimensions: 60x
Year: 202540
Through this painting, I wanted to open a passage, a triple arch that doesn't enclose space, but liberates it, transforming a wall into a boundless horizon. 'The Window of My Dreams' is born from the union of oil and acrylic on a 60x40 cm canvas, a mixtilinear technique chosen to convey both the vibrant immediacy of color and the softness of atmospheric nuances.
The viewer is ideally placed inside, protected by the shade of the loggia, but their gaze is immediately captivated by the majesty of the gulf. On the left, the unmistakable profile of Vesuvius looms, a gentle giant watching over the teeming expanse of the city, while the coast unfolds and disappears towards the distant mountains, caressing the thousand shades of an intensely blue sea. Each brushstroke on the water and the sky seeks to capture the movement of the wind and the living light of our land.
To frame this panorama of the soul, on the windowsill in the foreground, I placed two intimate and decorative elements: a dark ampoule on the left and a ceramic vase decorated in shades of blue on the right. They are the discreet guardians of this view, small everyday details that ground the dream in reality.
This painting is my invitation to pause, breathe in the vastness of the sea, and let yourself be transported to where dreams merge with the landscape.
