suspended on the river, suspended in time

Description

Ideal title: Suspended over the river, suspended in time

There are places that bear the weight of history and the lightness of the nature that surrounds them. When I saw the image of the Brivio Bridge, I was captivated by its imposing arch that challenges the sky, mirrored in the calm waters of the Adda River.

In my painting, I wanted to capture this dialogue: the strength of the time-worn concrete, the gentle flow of the river, and the vibrant, tenacious note of those yellow flowers in the foreground. An invitation to pause, to look beyond the structure, and to breathe in the tranquility of the landscape.
