Title: The Energy of the Gulf

Technique: Oil and acrylic on cardboard

Dimensions: 25 x 30 cm

"Naples is not only my hometown, it is the deep root of my art and the inexhaustible source of my emotions. Although Pozzuoli welcomed me with open arms and became my beloved adopted home, my heart belongs inextricably to the waters and the unique view of Mergellina.

In this painting, I wanted to reinterpret and pay homage to a masterful shot taken during the America's Cup in the Gulf of Naples. It is not just any boat, but the symbol of great sailing and speed that challenges the waters of my home. In the background, the unmistakable profile of Vesuvius and the golden reflections of the sunset dance on the sea, creating a unique dialogue between the modernity of the sport and the eternity of the Neapolitan landscape."
