Italian paintress of German origin grown up in Russia. She is completely self-taught, she draws from early childhood, she paints from the age of 12. After Moscow University where she studied chemical engineering and foreign languages ​​she moved to Italy.

He has lived and worked in Magenta since 1992. In 1999 he invents his own original technique of “acrylic that looks like oil but never cracks” for which he has received awards in every painting competition he has entered. He has had numerous group and solo exhibitions, also in art galleries, and had numerous publications in local newspapers, periodicals and art catalogs between 1999 and 2003.

From 2022 she signs the works with the stage name Kate Makaro. Since 2022 she has specialized in luxury portraits of children from commissioned photos, in hyper-realistic and vintage / antique style to decorate luxury homes, classic interiors  and for art collections.
