In Greek mythology, Athena, also known as Pallas Athene, is the goddess of war, civilization, wisdom, strategy in combat, science, justice and skill. She was one of the main deities of the Greek pantheon and one of the twelve Olympian gods. In Roman mythology she was worshipped under the name of Minerva.
