Created using mixed media (oil and acrylic) on cardboard, measuring 42 x 47 cm, this painting is born from the encounter between visual and poetic influences. Through an arched architectural frame with a warm, textured surface, the gaze opens onto a sea horizon of intense, still blue, traversed only by a single sailboat.

​On the threshold, the discreet silhouette of a cat observes the immensity of the landscape. The work explores the theme of contemplative solitude and waiting, translating into fields of textured color the sense of suspended calm one feels before the vastness of the sea when all around is silent.
