Charlie Chaplin was an extraordinary man because he managed to overturn the concept of separation between private life and artist life, where for his authenticity, his life as an artist would have been for anyone else the private life, his private life instead it could have been a very original script for a great film. If Chaplin deserved a star in Hollywood, he deserved it for his interpretation of his private life.
