"Donna Azzurra", the result of a revision in January 2025 of the previous canvas (Donna Celeste), will soon be exhibited in Musile di Piave (VE), around February 2025

"Donna Celeste" third canvas (of 12) painted for the exhibition: "THE WOMEN FROM THE SHOULDERS, backs, lives and colours".

In 2024, in honor of International Women's Day, Franca presented the exhibition "Women of shoulders, backs, lives and colours", the result of her commitment, at the invitation of the municipal administration of Meolo (VE) to celebrate the contemporary and local female universe.

The back, the undisputed protagonist of the 12 canvases, stands as the supporting column, the majestic tree, the trunk that contains the experience of every single person. The shoulders, neck and posture reveal deep nuances of the personality of the women portrayed. Franca, with her pictorial intuition, shaped the colors and backgrounds of each canvas during the creative process. 

Franca, aware of the beauty of spontaneity, preferred to direct her attention to the aesthetic research of colors and atmospheres rather than to the obsession with perfection, creating suggestions that are lost between the abstract and metaphysical worlds.
