Meditating after bath
Description
The original work "Meditation after the bath" by Matisse is an oil on canvas from 1920-1921 measuring 73 x 54 centimeters kept at the Giovanni and Marella Agnelli Pinacoteca at the Lingotto in Turin.
The place is the painter's room, at the Hotel Mediterranée, now home to the new casino and renamed Palais de la Mediterranée.
Some details can be recognized in other paintings created by the artist in the same hotel room. E.g. "Woman and anemones".
Matisse creates the scene of a young woman in a turban and bathrobe, after havingù taken a bath, in my version the young woman portrayed is much hotter.
