Madonna of the "Pietà": detail of the face of the Madonna belonging to the famous "Pietà" in Michelangelo's marble, placed in the Basilica of San Pietro in the Vatican.

The painting is an emotional tribute to the artist's perfect sculptural work, which I have tried to represent with the clean lines, the softness of the chiaroscuro, the sweet expression of the face, the three-dimensional effect of the folds of the clothing.
