THE RED LINE
by Elena Bindi
Description
Poplar table 1 cm high, finished with white profile and ready to hang. No frame is required unless it is the buyer’s choice.
The work was presented at the exhibition in Villa Pecori Giraldi, home of the Art Nouveau museum in Florence, about the subject of dependences.
The red line in fact, represents the inner wound, the lived trauma that tears your soul and makes it bleed. The quest to relieve this suffering sometimes leads you to seek ways that will help you to ease the pain, but paradoxically, as in a stormy sea, they make you lose the orientation and control of your life by making you a prisoner.
Precisely for its social theme, the painting has been inserted as part of the staging of a theatrical performance entitled "My friend the dog".
It’s a unique piece of which there are no copies or reproductions. Upon request I can attach a certificate of authenticity.
