This intimate 24x34 cm acrylic painting on cardboard was created under the theme "My Travels." In "Trip to the Lake," I foreground two wooden boats moored among the thick grass on the shore, the central element of a composition that then develops toward the body of water and the lush vegetation in the background. I worked extensively on color contrasts and the texture of the paint to lend dynamism to the aquatic reflections and warmth to the landscape, seeking to convey the emotion and peace typical of a day spent in contact with pristine nature.
