In this work, the escape represents something that has already happened, something already achieved, but which must not become an end in itself—rather a means to reach higher goals. Success lies not in the escape, but in what you can achieve once you have broken the wall.

The window in the foreground represents, in this case, that gaze toward the future after the break, just as, in an earlier time, the arch in the background did when you were still trapped.
