Biography

• Roberto Albaizar, born in Madrid, Master Architect No. Reg.: 8,571

• Artist with a studio at C/ Azcona 33 (Madrid)

• Architectural abstractions

• Paintings developed using mixed techniques with textured materials such as plaster, marble dust, and sand, combined with acrylic paint on canvas

• My entire body of work is based on a persistent search for mystical, ethereal atmospheres that are, paradoxically, full of materiality. Deeply textured backgrounds with foreground protagonists invite a dialogue that helps to understand what I aim to represent. The work is abstract, composed of planes that transform into volumes through the complementary emergence of dramatic cast shadows upon these atmospheres, seeking to create images of unreality

• Selected in October 2025 for the Artist of Europe 2025 award with the painting “The Cypress of Autumn” in Venice
